Bio
Mark graduated from BYU in photography and started his business in American Fork in 1980.  He earned his CPP degree in 1986 and his Masters Degree in 2003.  A long time IPPA board member, and former president of the IPPA.  He has won many awards over the years including IPPA Master of the Year, cover of the PPA Loan Collection book,  and display of his work in the Kodak Epcot Center in Florida.  Mark is passionate about his family, photography, photoshop and chocolate. It is getting time to think about print competition again.  Every year the IPPA holds a mock print competition to help our members tweak their images for competition.  We have local judges come and judge your images and help you learn what you might do to increase your print scores.  Every year this event has become bigger and bigger.  We would invite you to come and the best part is there is no charge for IPPA members.

The Imaging Depot in Ogden is hosting the event this year.  The address is:

We will meet at 9:00 am and go until we are finished (usually about 1:00 or 2:00).  Lunch will be provided by the Imaging Depot.

There is a big change this year for the mock print competition.  This year you can submit the prints digitally.  That way you don’t have to spend the money to get them printed just in time to learn what to change.  Email you images to me, Ryan Hadley (ryan@mpiphotovideo.com) by Thursday March 3rd.  If you want to bring prints I still need to know you are coming .  E-mail me and let me know so we have you on the schedule.

Lunch will be provided so we need each person attending to register.  There is no cost for members but we need to know how many are coming so we can be prepared.  Please fill out the form below.  You can also submit your images with the form below.

You can submit up to 5 images to be reviewed.  They can be either printed or digital.  If you will bring prints you only need to bring them with you on the 7th.  If you are going to submit digital files you can use the form below or you can email them to me at ryan@mpiphotovideo.com.  I need all the digital files before March 5th so they can be organized.  Prints can be 8×10 or larger.

Thom Rouse began his career as a portrait-wedding photographer in 1993. Based near Chicago, he now divides his time between commercial, fine art, and commissioned fine art images, with his clients as the central subjects of his pieces.
